Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 1, 2026
StrideLadder ("we", "our", or "us") is designed to help you run interval workouts with a clear timer and simple history. This policy explains what information the app may use on your device and how we treat it.
Data stays on your device
Workout history and settings you save in the app are stored locally on your iPhone using on-device storage (for example SQLite). We do not operate a StrideLadder account system in the app as described here, and we do not upload your workout log to our servers for core app functionality.
Location
If you start a workout and grant location access, the app may use your location while you are using the app to estimate distance, pace, and to show your route on a map. You can deny location access and still use the interval timer; GPS-based features will be limited or unavailable.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, we may use them for reminders or session-related alerts you opt into. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings.
Software updates
We may deliver updates to the JavaScript portion of the app over the air (for example via Expo Updates) so you get fixes and improvements without installing a new build from the App Store when possible. Native capabilities still require an App Store update.
Analytics and tracking
We do not use the app to sell your personal data. We do not use third-party advertising frameworks in the app for cross-app tracking as part of this product experience.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Contact
For privacy questions, use the contact options on our Support page.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
